a perfect afternoon, gorgeous light, a beautiful family and one beyond radiant mother-to-be.

all i can say is you seriously ROCK pregnancy. like, seriously. love you girl.

a new life will be here. till then, it is all about the anxious anticipation.  prepping, hoping, wishing, waiting…for what this little baby will bring.

photographing this anticipation is something that i absolutely love.  and this couple was no exception.  it was the perfect day to documenting their new chapter.  their excitement was contagious and i know for sure that their little miracle is going to be blessed with the most perfect duo as it’s mom and dad.

nothing makes me happier than documenting and celebrating life.

perfect timing, amazing light, and a gorgeous fall backdrop. sigh. i don’t think life can get any better.  danielle, i cherish our friendhsip and i am so grateful to have you in my life.  you are my kindred spirit.

to everyone i photographed this year.  thank you.  thank you for asking me to be a part of your story.  thank you for asking me to capture it.  it makes me so happy to celebrate others, and even happier knowing that others are taking the time out of thier lives to celebrate themselves.  with time passing so quickly, and everyone growing up so fast…images are powerful.  

it is your life.  you matter. take the time. celebrate it.  you only have one.

today is a day filled with joy.  new beginnings. new chapters. new life.

just a few days ago i had the absolute honor of photographing one of my closest and dearest friends.  we have been friends since we were born.  our mom’s were best friends in junior high and high school…and to this day their friendship is close.  

as kids, it seemed like such a long time away when we would meet a boy, fall in love, get married, and begin to have a family.  i can remember the days like yesterday when we were still in junior high and high school, talking about boys, laughing about boys…and of course crying over boys. if we only knew now what we knew then! how things just unfold in a way that is imperfectly perfect. that our lives take us where we need to be. the rest is just details.  

but now, present day brings me to witness a whole new beginning.  the “unknown” chapter that we always wondered and dreamed about is now happening!  

it is a story of two high school sweethearts who fell in love and together, have created beautiful brand new life.

how powerful is that.

you both are so blessed and i just wanted to honor you both, on this day, for 1 very special reason.

love you both so much.
